About the Inventor: Cathy Cunningham
As a Licensed Agent in financial services for the majority of her career, Cathy had worked with people from all walks of life. Frustrated with the lack of financial education that exists, she decided to create a game as a tool to help larger numbers of people learn key financial principles, while having fun.
Why a game? Having a degree in psychology, Cathy knows the most effective way for people to retain what they learn, which is experiential simulations. Games are used as simulations, creating a life-like experience in a pretend environment, much like a simulator for driving or flying. Playing with a group speeds learning and increases retention of information. She saw the need for a new game in this new era, for real people, real situations without the hype…and IMPACT The Money Mastery Game® was born.
Finally a game that anyone can understand, regardless of education or experience. It is full of success principles for business, life and finances that many of us wish we had known sooner.
